We’ve collaborated with our friends Kaapse Brouwers from Rotterdam for our fifth special edition release of 2024 and another in our 10th birthday collab series. Your search for a super refreshing zesty lager is officially over with our 4.4% Yuzu Pils! Think of a really crisp and clean sessionable lager, with a soft body and subtle malty sweetness behind a medium bitterness.
Now add some Yuzu for a burst of flavour and aroma. Yuzu fruit, originating from China but very much associated with Japan, infuses our lager with a vibrant citrusy aroma and a complex, tart flavor profile. Its fragrant zest enhances the beer’s refreshing qualities, adding notes of lemon, mandarin and grapefruit. Yuzu really whacks in a load of character and elevates this pilsner to something quite special. Kaapse Brouwers is a brewery and taproom in Katendrecht, a district of Rotterdam, also known as ‘De Kaap’. In fact Kaapse Brouwers translates as ‘Brewers from De Kaap’.
