Rascals Craft Brewing 5 New England Pale Ale Tasting Notes

5 New England Pale Ale – The 759 Series

In a Nutshell

Hazy | Juicy | Creamy

The Full Story

Welcome to the second beer of our 759 series, showcasing New England hoppy ales featuring different hops and alcohol percentages in each brew. So, second in line is our ‘5’, an easy drinking, juicy, five per cent brew. ‘5’ has a MAJOR hop line up of Ekuanot, Enigma and Pacifica in the whirlpool. Leading the way in the dry hop at 13g/L, we have showcased Falconer’s Flight and Enigma, backed up by Vic Secret, Pacifica and Amarillo. This hop charge brings bucket loads of that New England tropical juice with a melon and ripe stone fruit flavour and a bang of citrus aroma.

Fermented this time with London Ale III to give a higher finishing gravity, ‘5’ has a soft and creamy mouthfeel, and a hazy pale straw appearance, which ticks all the right boxes for a New England Pale Ale that all you hop heads will love.
