Rocktoberfest is our beer and rock music festival happening on September 23rd. Get your tickets here and enjoy some tremendous German and Irish lagers and ales, some top class music from a variety of DJs across the day, and tasty pizzas, pretzels and smoked Polish pork.

 

We’ve decided to have an air guitar contest on the day because, well, why the hell not? If you’re coming along to Rocktoberfest and you’ve always enjoyed leaping about while dishing up sizzling riffs on an imaginary guitar (who doesn’t enjoy that?!) then we’d like to hear from you.

 

Every contestant will get a free premium brewery tour for 2, just for taking part! We’ll have two runners up spots who’ll receive a €50 Rascals voucher each, and a winner who’ll walk away with a full case of beer. (Technically speaking we’ll ship out the beer after the festival.) Of course the glory and honour of being crowned the Rascals Rocktoberfest Air Guitar Champion 2023 is priceless.

 

Participants will be judged on three criteria: outfit, artistic expression and technique. They’ll be expected play along to a piece of music no longer than a minute and a half, and ideally a lengthy guitar solo or piece of music incorporating solo elements and riffs.
