NEW: Summer BBQ Series at Rascals Brewing Company
July will be sizzling in Inchicore!
Calling all barbecue lovers! 2022 and 2023 McKennas’ Guides Best In Ireland winners Rascals Brewing Company, Inchicore, are hosting a series of four BBQ Saturdays this July. Using their terrace at Rascals HQ – the location for Inchicore’s Next Top Pizza Chef in May – the busy chefs and restaurant team have devised this mouth-watering programme – scroll on!
Saturday 8th: Homemade Burgers. Chefs Felipe Santos Souza and Wellington Ranzani will be grilling up homemade burgers for visitors to Rascals HQ. What makes this classic BBQ fare a bit special is the topping choice of Sriracha mayo or sundried tomato pesto, both of which are freshly made here from original Rascals recipes in our kitchen. Not only that, the braver souls might want to try Felipe and Wellington’s fiery pickled jalapenos. Not for the faint hearted!
Saturday 15th: Polish sausage – Polska Kielbasa. Our restaurant manager Dorota Czyz is an avid smoker – no, not that kind – and frequently treats our staff to her famous smoked Polish sausage, prepared in her own smoker and using a technique she first learned from her mother. Dorota’s partner Cathal is a butcher so it’s probably one of the most convenient and happy unions in the country. Cathal’s sensational sausage recipe will be smoked to perfection by Dorota and served up here for hungry punters.
Saturday 22nd: Brazilian Picanha. This is arguably the national favourite cut in Brazil and it’s an amazing piece of meat when done properly. Picanha beef steaks are ridiculously juicy and tender. A simple dry brine and salt bed seasoning are all that’s required; let our two Brazilian chefs Felipe and Wellington treat you to Picanha prepared in the true authentic Brazilian fashion!
Saturday 29th: guest BBQ with Julian from El Milagro. One of the most acclaimed authentic Mexican taquería operations in the country, we’ve had El Milagro at our Happy Days Beer & Food Festival this year and in 2022. They have been consistently excellent in quality, creativity, flavour and service. It’s a real taste of Mexico and this BBQ promises to be unreal.
What’s the format? People can come along from 4pm on the day, buy a ticket and enjoy their food – it’s as simple as that! It will be done on a first come, first served basis and we won’t be taking bookings for the barbecues. Prices may vary for each event, but you can be sure of a succulent barbecue meal.
