Krush Groove IPA
In a Nutshell
A collaborative beer with Yeastie Boys showcasing the biggest and most bangin’ NZ hops.
The Full Story
Krush Groove IPA is a 7% tropical and citrus flavour bomb, brewed with four magnificent NZ hops. We’re big fans of Betty hops, having brewed a dry-hopped lager with plenty of Betty back in February 2021. Expect subtle tropical flavours with a big hint of lime. We’re no strangers to Galaxy and Nelson hops, having brewed with them on several occasions over the past while. The latter imparts peach and clean citrus, while the former yields unmistakable mango, apricot and even green grape. The hop we’re most keen on, and it’s our first time using it in a brew, is Riwaka. It’s been described as ‘the ultimate hop’ for hoppy beers and you can expect a strong sweet citrus note with a hit of fresh grapefruit too. It’s got a big body and a little bit of dank in the finish. The bitterness isn’t fighting with the hop character; it’s all peace, love and juice!
