Discover our Pub of the Month for August
Our August Pub of the Month is the recently revamped “The Bottle Tower” in Churchtown.
The Bottle Tower was re-opened in its current guise in September 2016 . The guys behind it have managed to take a traditional old mans pub and completely turn it around. The concept was to create a suburban pub that sells great beer, offers an exciting food menu, hosts regular music events (including the Rascals sponsored Sunday Acoustic Sessions) and appeals to a large customer base. They have certainly managed to achieve all these.
The Decor is a mix of contemporary and nostalgic, industrial and tactile – very cool with plenty of fun and quirky tidbits to keep you visually entertained. Worth mentioning that the architect Dermot McNamara is the creative genius behind the interiors and every time we have been in we have noticed something clever and new that has made me smile. The space itself is now wide open and airy and there seems to be a lot of comfortable seating areas to tuck yourself away if you need to. Also there are 14 screens here so perfect for watching the Rugby!
On the drinks front, the Bottle Tower offers over 10 craft beers on tap and 60+ in bottles and cans. Our Rascals Yankee White IPA has been a staple on tap since opening which has been going very well and we also have a Rascals rotational tap. With an extensive gin menu as well as great food and good atmosphere they ensure that there is something on the menu for everyone to enjoy.
We are holding our Rascals Spin the Wheel night here on Friday 11th August – From 8pm – 10pm, so pop in to spin and win prizes and sample our beers.
If you are looking for good food and great beers in a chilled pub with super friendly staff and great tunes, then this pub is for you.
Great Job Guys!
