You Buy The Beer, We’ll Make The Donation

 

For every webshop order in March we’re donating €1 to My Lovely Horse Rescue. 

My Lovely Horse Rescue is a registered charity operating in the Leinster and Cork regions. They rescue, rehabilitate and rehome equines and other animals, as well as assisting authorities in moving equines to a place of safety. They advocate for the enforcement of animal welfare legislation and also provide education around issues of responsible horse ownership.  Much of this work occurs in their centres as well as in the community.

 

 

My Lovely Horse Rescue are also involved in our local Liberties Horse Culture Group and work with local politicians and groups to ensure the safe and responsible care for and treatment of horses.

Marti Kenny is one of the co-founders of My Lovely Horse Rescue. “It’s been very hard for the past twelve months; we are always full to the brim but always trying to make room for emergencies.”

 

 

“Covid has really affected fundraising but we just don’t let it stop us, we are continuing to work with Gardaí around the country, continuing to home horses, donkeys, goats, dogs and pigs. We officially started My Lovely Pig Rescue in the middle of the pandemic and now we have over 60 rescue pigs and rising. The public have been amazing and truly helpful, we are very thankful for what we have. Our 450 plus animals are safe and more joining the MLHR family every day.”
